Art and Revolution, a documentary by Elena de Varda

This is the story of how ARTISTS won a war against the Soviet dictatorship.  An Italian-Polish story, connected to the grate HISTORY, which has led to the destruction of the Berlin wall! The greatest European revolution of the twentieth century is told by amazing artists, who are protagonists. Between 1975 and 1989 the most important contemporary art movement of underground and independent culture in the world, developed in Poland and changed the world, under the keyword “Solidarity”. The Berlin wall collapsed but now amnesia seems to dominate the contemporary world and walls are rising again. Among many artists, participate the well-known actors Krystyna Janda, Olgierd Łukasiewicz and the Nobel Peace Prize Lech Wałęnsa.
